ACPCU Clinches Top Honors at ‘Best of the Pearl’ Coffee Competition

In a momentous triumph for Uganda’s vibrant coffee industry, the Ankole Coffee Producers Cooperative Union (ACPCU) has emerged victorious at the prestigious ‘Best of the Pearl’ Robusta Coffee Competition in Uganda.

ACPCU’s exceptional prowess in coffee production shone brightly as they secured first place in not one, but two categories: Natural Coffee and Honey Coffee.  Their dedication to crafting outstanding coffee blends has rightfully earned them this prestigious recognition.

The awards were organised by the USAID’s Feed the Future, Uganda Coffee Development Authority and Uganda Coffee Federation and are organised annually.

This victory is not just a testament to ACPCU’s commitment to quality, but also to their unwavering partnership with aBi Development, a proud partner in Uganda’s thriving coffee value chain.

The celebration doesn’t end there! We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to other aBi partners, NUCAFE and Rubanga Co-operative Society Ltd, for their remarkable performance, earning their well-deserved spots on the competition’s shortlist. Their outstanding scores of 82.75 and 83.5 respectively, highlight the excellence that thrives within Uganda’s coffee community.
